How soon can we be married?
The first piece of legal documentation, your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) needs to be completed, signed, witnessed and lodged to your Celebrant at least one month prior to your wedding date and can be completed up to 18 months in advance.

When do I need to book you as a celebrant?
As soon as you have set a date for your wedding ceremony, send me a message! 

How many legal words MUST be in our ceremony?
There are 124 legal words that must be included in your ceremony. All of the other words, we can choose to complement your wedding day vibe and preferred ceremony style.

How many witnesses do we need at our ceremony?
The legal requirement is to have two people, over the age of eighteen required to witness your wedding. It is a requirement that the witnesses, speak English otherwise you will need to source an interpreter.. As part of this, the witnesses will need to sign the Marriage and Commemorative Certificates. 

Do we need a permit to hold our Ceremony in a park or on the beach?
In most cases, the answer will be yes. I would recommend speaking to the local council for that particular area to check with them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do we need to apply for an official marriage certificate?
Yes! In short, the certificate you sign during your ceremony is a commemorative certificate. Following your wedding, I will lodge all of the official paperwork and legal documentation to Births, Deaths and Marriages and you can then obtain your official certificate directly through them.

Do you have your own speaker and mic?
I sure do, I pride myself on having the highest quality equipment - a Bose speaker and Sennheiser cordless microphone so all of your guests will be able to hear the ceremony clearly as well as you delivering your vows.

What if I have been married before?
I just need you to provide documentation to show how the previous marriage ended for example divorce certificate, annulment or a death certificate.

Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! As a Registered Marriage Celebrant, I can officiate wedding ceremonies ANYWHERE in Australia. I love to travel and combine my passion for travelling and marrying lovers. My most popular spots are Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Maleny, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Melbourne.

How do you give back to the community and environment?
I love giving back and having a sustainable focus. Every wedding I officiate is also excellent for the environment and I have chosen to plant a tree for every ceremony I officiate. Each tree is planted lovingly with Carbon Positive Australia.
